God is calling us away from living as renditions of 'previously proven' patterns of life to living as 'now' expressions of the Spirit. We've heard "You should," we've heard "You need to," and we've heard "You're supposed to." But what is God saying, feeling, and thinking in regards to our existence? What did Jesus really begin both to do and teach (see Acts 1:1)?

What are we really continuing?

There are designated 'assignments' for each one of us to fulfill. The heart of Christ sought after His purpose and acquired a 'tunnel vision' that kept Him locked into it at all costs. Distractions came and pressures came; yet He maintained His course. He was measured against the train of thought of the day and was compared to the prophets of old. He was not easily categorized.

Purpose transcends 'categories' and produces new mentalities and products.
Just as Jesus knew what He was here to do in spite of popular opinion, there is an associated 'line of work' that is meant to issue forth from our lives. We are not here to 'entertain' others or just be something that can merely be 'appreciated' until we go on to Heaven.

We are not here to appease the masses by being something that everyone is comfortable with or are easily defined according to existing paradigms. Becoming what the Father 'imagined' means crossing some lines and breaking routines. There's a 'product' that was intended to come forth from our existence that will impact the world at large. There is a divine significance that was placed within the bowels of our being that may not look like something that came before us.

There is a longing in our 'DNA' to become what was spoken concerning us. This seed of life longs for more than what it has already accomplished. He says, "No, there's more." Complacency and fear are his enemies. The Father creates life that is purposed. Each of us is a 'product' of an intimate moment of the Father. Life begets life. Intimacy produces life and then 'order' comes to 'govern' the life that was produced. Wisdom and order come to 'train us up in the way in which we must go' (see Prov. 22:6). Just as His love made us and redeemed us, His love is shaping us through testing, correction, and challenges (see Prov. 3:11-12).

Our design was intended to produce something. When we are not living as we were intended to live, our full capacity to 'be what we truly are', is stymied and frustrated. You see, somewhere in the midst of all the pressures of life, the negative opinions of others, the mistakes of the past, etc. there's a 'voice' on the inside saying, "I can and will be." Are we listening to the inner-voice or are we waiting, wondering, and whining? Christianity has become a 'byword' associated with flakiness, weakness, and goofiness because the life and expression of the treasures of the Father have been overshadowed by the religious ideals of man.

Are we living to be accepted by God or man? The 'play it safe' mentality in the Body of Christ must be reformed.

Sometimes we can spend too much time visiting our 'museums' of past circumstances and 'what ifs'. These museums can suck us dry of any momentum and only instill fear and complacency. These 'vacuums of the past' keep us from allowing our 'voids' to be filled by the momentums and currents of our purpose. When our minds are consumed by the past, there's no wind in our sails. We have to make a decision to 'draw a line' between the past and the present. Many of our lives have become 'programmed responses' to our memories. God has called us to be people of vision, where we look forward and maximize our current potential each day.

Staying in the realm of 'memorials' causes us to look away from destiny and purpose. Keep in mind that this can also occur if we focus too much attention on our past 'successes and achievements'. It's time to leave the 'museum' and press into new frontiers.

The Father wants us to understand that we're in a position where we can't lose. Sons aren't losers. Sons go through things and only get 'better'. The Father is saying 'we can'. The Father is saying 'go for it'. The Father is saying 'I'm for you'. Fear of failure should really not exist. The words 'give up' should not exist in our vocabulary.

When we live what the Father 'spoke' concerning us (see Ps. 139:16), the world will be 'wowed' as it experiences His Word living in the flesh without constraints or limitations. Something that is 'lived' can easily be articulated and conveyed. When we are sharing our life, we don't have to prepare a 'speech or demo' in advance, since 'what we already are' is what we're sharing. When we live something, we can never be labeled as a 'theory', since we have already 'become' something that actually 'works'.

When we're truly 'living', our lives are 'giving'. There's an ongoing 'conclusion' coming from our lives. There are visible results from our obedience and submission to the will of the Father. There are 'starts and finishes', processes and fulfillments. There's an ongoing demonstration of the Father's life.

Do we know our line of work in the world at large?
